Out-of-school learning provides students with opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom in settings that are educational, safe, and enjoyable. These experiences may include neighbourhood walks, local learning opportunities, and organized field trips.
Permission for neighbourhood walking excursions is covered through the Student Information Form, which families complete in September or when a student registers at PCT. Families will be notified in advance when a class is planning a neighbourhood walking excursion.
For other field trips and out-of-school learning experiences, a permission form will be sent home with students. Any fees associated with a trip will be communicated in advance and collected through School Cash Online.
